Two poster sessions are planned for Monday, 29 June and Tuesday 30 June, 16:15-22:00 at the Siloso function room at level 1 of the conference venue. The poster walls support A0 portrait and landscape format. A poster prize is sponsored by "Applied Physics B: Lasers and Optics" (Courtesy of Prof. Dieter Meschede.). The prize winners will be announced during the conference banquet.

Public lecture
A public lecture will be given by at the Maxwell Auditorium at hte Singapore Science Centre on Wednesday, July 1, at 19:00. Bus transfer following the excursions on Wednesday afternoon and from the Rasa Sentosa Resort will be provided.

Alain Aspect (Institut d'Optiqe, France)
Maxwell's wave or Einstein's LichtQuanten? The weirdness of light
.
Since the early days of quantum mechanics, interference between spatially separated trajectories of a single particle has not ceased to fascinate physicists. I will present experiments realized with a single photon, which have allowed us to emphasize the weirdness of the concept of wave particle duality, at the root of the quantum revolution of the 20th century. Such single photon sources are now an important resource in the domain of quantum information and quantum cryptography.

Lab Tours
For the people who like to visit the local laboratories we offer lab tours at the Centre for Quantum Technologies on Friday, July 3rd. Bus transfer departs at 14:00 at the lobby of the Rasa Sentosa Resort.
